Ferrara Balloons Festival is one of the largest festivals of hot-air ballooning in Europe, with numerous teams from Italy and abroad bringing their many-coloured craft: in the last edition 350.000 people attendet the event!
From September 17th-26th, fun and magic in the skies of Ferrara, all setting off from the Bassani Urban Park just outside the Renaissance walls of the Unesco World Heritage City.
Organised by the city council and the provincial administration of Ferrara, with the support of Prosport, the Festival is also a grand Village of the Air with ever increasing attractions and novelties to entertain all its guests.
Visitors can feel the thrill of flight, and experience other delights linked to the air, tethered balloon flights, kite displays, parachute jumps, aeroplane flights over the city and the Po Delta, and still more
